The Alexandria Small Business Development Center is a community resource that provides counseling, training and information in all aspects of small business management. The Alexandria SBDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization hosted by the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) and partially funded by the US Small Business Administration and The City of Alexandria.

Created in 1995, Community Business Partnership (CBP) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization working in collaboration with a number of local, regional and national organizations to promote small business growth in our communities.
We help small businesses start and grow. Our mission is to be the premier provider of full spectrum educational and support services to small businesses in Fairfax County and beyond; enabling them to make a significant contribution to a vibrant local economy.
Our Core Business
Community Business Partnership (CBP) provides education, technical assistance, business incubation services, access to capital and networking opportunities.
We serve potential and existing small business owners ï¿½ to include socially and economically disadvantaged individuals including minorities, women and the disabled – primarily located in Northern Virginia.
We empower our clients by providing access to resources in order to fulfill their dreams, to provide for their financial security as well as that of their families, and to contribute to the economic growth of their communities. We also help our strategic partners meet business development and regulatory objectives aimed at providing economic growth and stability for the region.
Over the past decade Community Business Partnership has grown to include 4 distinct programs:
The Virginia Women’s Business Center, the South Fairfax Small Business Development Center, the Business Finance Center and the Business Incubation Center.
Loudoun Small Business Development Center (SBDC) helps entrepreneurs start, manage and grow their businesses. We are known as Loudoun County’s “go-to” resource for small business assistance. Our services include no-cost, confidential business start-up and growth counseling and low-cost business seminars. Led by a volunteer Board of Directors, all confidential counseling is provided by the Center’s dedicated business counseling staff and a committed group of professional volunteer counselors. By helping our small business clients, the Center aids growth of Loudoun County’s commercial tax base and creates jobs. We are proud of our contribution to Loudoun County’s vibrant small business economy.Located within the Mason Enterprise Center in Leesburg, Virginia, the Center is partially funded by the US Small Business Administration through George Mason University; Loudoun County; and the Town of Leesburg. Other local funders are listed on our sponsors page.Loudoun SBDC is part of the Virginia SBDC network, the most extensive business development program in the Commonwealth. The network is a partnership between the U.S. Small Business Administration, George Mason University-Mason Enterprise Center and other premier local host organizations throughout Virginia. In Loudoun County, we are physically located within the Mason Enterprise Center-Leesburg and provide business counseling to residential and virtual MEC clients in addition to all Loudoun residents and small business owners.The Loudoun SBDC is a member of the Virginia SBDC Network, a statewide service network funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. For over a decade, the Mason Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at George Mason University – Mason Enterprise Center has been assisting small business owners in Northern Virginia.
We assist over 500 local businesses each year. Our team provides over 100 hours of monthly one-on-one counseling services to small businesses in Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William Counties at no cost to our clients thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.
